According to Comicbook.com, the zombies are supposed to look weathered and worn out from the harsh conditions of the environment after the zombie apocalypse in the desert. The zombies look as weatherbeaten as goblins, with their skin tone matching the color of their clothes.

It makes the fans wonder, what have these zombies experienced. From the looks of the photo and the fact that the movie takes place in Las Vegas, one can guess the elements have taken an effect in the appearance of the zombies. Maybe their appearance has something to do with the cause of the zombie apocalypse. Fans speculate and continue to guess, but we will have to watch the movie to find out what Sydner has been working on.

Army of the Dead takes place in post apocalyptic Las Vegas, a band of mercenaries come together to plan a massive heist in the quarantined area.

The Snyders are responsible for the storyline, and he has constantly reiterated to the amount of the freedom he has since Netflix has taken over the project.

Snyder told the Hollywood Reporter back in March, “There are no handcuffs on me at all with this one,” Snyder said. “I love to honor canon and the works of art, but this is the opportunity to find a purely joyful way to express myself through a genre.”
