“The Walking Dead” alumni Addy Miller and Kylie Szymanski are set to visit Rogersville, TN to raise money to being 15-year Morristown Rescue Volunteer John Rutherford who was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma according to Times News.
The alumni will be doing a meet and greet on Saturday Sept. 22 with free autographs from noon to 6 p.m. at Saucy Hawgs, Rogersville’s BBQ restaurant.
The meet and greet is free to the public, but raffle tickets are currently being sold by Saucy Hawgs. Three winners of the raffle will each be allowed to bring one person to dinner with Miller and Szymanski from 6-7 p.m.
Rutherford’s mother-in-law, Lori Baskette, has a friend who takes part in horror conventions at Virginia Beach. It is through this contact that the benefit was arranged.
Miller premiered in the first episode of “The Walking Dead” as Summer, the little girl zombie carrying a teddy bear that Rick Grimes encounters after leaving the hospital.
Szymanski is know for her role as Penny, the Governor’s zombie daughter that he is trying to cure.
Other donated items to be raffled include a 32-inch flat screen television, a pair of Costa Sunglasses and an all day guided fishing trip on the Nolichucky River.
Raffle sales will close at 3 p.m. on Saturday and the winners will be drawn.
