It’s been nearly 30 years since Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video showed us that zombies fresh from the grave were more than capable of joining together and dancing through the streets. Since then the undead have focused a bit more on eating the living than busting a move, but even zombies have been unable to escape the horror that is the Harlem Shake.

For those who have been fortunate enough to avoid the shakes so far, be warned: what you will see you cannot unsee. The Harlem Shake meme starts with a video of single person dancing to the song “Harlem Shake” by Baauer. In a fast cut, the screen fills with people all doing their own (usually stupid) dance.
