Based on the zombie horror mobile game by the same name, Dead Trigger is being turned into a full length film. Saban Films recently released the trailer and the posters with action star Dolph Lundgren killing zombies.
The film follows the plot of the game, of a zombie apocalypse in present day and the origin of the apocalypse is a virus that not only kills the population but also turns many others into zombies as a side effect of the virus.
Lundgren stars as Captain Walker, the person who is tasked with finding a cure and the cause of the virus while doing that he kills zombies while on the way.
According to Movie Web, Dead Trigger was originally a first person zombie themed mobile game that launched in the summer of 2012. It was available for both IOS and Android devices, and experienced much success with over 23 million downloads according to MadFinger games. The sequel to the game was released in 2013 and is still available for IOS and Android devices.
The film originally premiered in 2017 however but it is now getting a theatrical release, the film will be in theaters on May 3.
