With the tenth anniversary quickly approaching, the sequel to the Zombieland is still an unknown. We know a few things like the cast but now there is one more detail to the movie, a name. Instead of adding a 2 to the original title, the movie is given a name that fans of the original could recognize and appreciate, Zombieland: Double Tap.

In the original movie, Columbus outlines his basic rules of survival during the zombie apocalypse, the second being, the double tap. He explains the double tap as insurance that the undead attacking him, is truly dead. Shooting them once to take them down and then once more through the head to make sure they are dead.

So far there is little known about the Double Tap as mentioned before the information that we have is the cast members, all the original cast member are a part of the sequel, as well as some new faces like Rosario Dawson, Thomas Middleditch and Zoey Deutch.   

According to a report by Entertainment Weekly, the plot of the movie will pick up the original characters a decade after the zombie apocalypse.  

In January, Super Bros Movies, reported the movie was going to feature different types of zombies such as Homers (stupid zombies), Ninjas (dangerous zombies), and Hawkings (you guess it…smart zombies).

The production of the film has started and the film is scheduled to be released on October 11 of this year.
