While fans of Syfy’s Z Nation are mourning the show’s cancellation, they can look forward to the Netflix prequel show Black Summer which is scheduled for release on April 11.

Those familiar with the universe of Z Nation know that Black Summer refers to the first summer of zombie apocalypse; a time when the world fell apart.
