The same studio that released “Train to Busan” is set to release “Rampant,” a South Korean historical zombie film.
According to firstshowing.net, “A darkness looms over ancient Korea: murderous creatures known as Night Demons have overrun the country. Returning from a long imprisonment abroad, Prince Ganglim discovers that it will take the strength of his entire kingdom to stop the bloody rampage spreading across the nation.”
The film is set to take place during the Joseon dynasty and stars Jang Dong-Gun, Hyun Bin, Kim Eui-sung, Jo Woo-jin, Kim Ju-hyuk, and Jo Dal-hwan, with Kim Sung-hoon as the director.
The trailer depicts all the high stakes action you would expect from the company that brought you “Train to Busan.” This time, however, the main characters have swords, bows and martial arts to defend themselves from the onslaught of “night demons.”
Rampant is set to invade select theaters on Nov. 2.
