Okay, so Shannon Richardson isn’t really a zombie, but she has played one on television — several times apparently.

Richardson, 35, and a resident of Texas, is an actress who has several credits as walkers on AMC’s hit show The Walking Dead. She’s also done some other small parts on shows like The Vampire Diaries and Franklin and Bash. It wasn’t her acting skills that brought her to the national spotlight, however.

Richardson was arrested June 7 and charged as being the person who sent letters laced with the poison ricin to New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and President Barrack Obama.

According to reports, it was Richardson who actually tipped off the FBI agents investigating the case. She apparently told them she suspected her husband of sending the letters. Investigating the tip, the agents determined the husband had no clue what was going on, but Richardson was suspiciously knowledgeable. Authorities believe marital strife led the pregnant mother of five to attempt to frame her husband.

No one was harmed in the incident, but Richardson could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
