The producers of AMC’s “The Wakling Dead” are preparing for filming of the zombie series’s ninth season and have issued a casting call for background actors.

According to the listing posted at backstage.com, the production is seeking men and women who are at least 18 years old to appear as zombies. The listing notes a “very slim build is important.” It also indicates that longer straight hair is ideal for some roles, but is not a requirement. Acting or performance ability is a plus.

The listing doesn’t say what the job pays, but indicates that the work is paid. Filming will be done during May and June in Miami, Fl.
