The zombie apocalypse is coming to Cleveland

The recent Zombie Apocalypse craze can be seen everywhere. TV shows like The Walking Dead have developed huge followings, news stations highlight zombie stories, and social media buzzes about strange diseases that cause zombie-like symptoms. There’s little doubt America loves talking about the Zombie Apocalypse, but could we actually live through it? What if you could live out your favorite zombie movies and video games? Would you and your friends survive? Clevelanders are about to get a chance to find out!

Apocalypse: Live Action Zombie Experience is an interactive zombie apocalypse event that has spent the past year bringing their incredible show to the biggest cities in America. Crowds have lined up in New York, San Antonio, and Tucson to fight off Zombie hoards with state-of-the-art weaponry used to train military and swat team personnel. Now, Apocalypse is coming to Cleveland.

Favorite local fall attraction, The Fear Experience, is bringing this amazing event to Cleveland the weekend of July 11th.

“We saw what Apocalypse was doing around the country and knew right away we needed to bring this event to Cleveland,” Co-owner Max Simon said.

Each guest chooses their team and weapons. Then, after training – the onslaught begins. “Recruits” will be immersed in a city overrun by zombies. As they travel through the desolate wasteland they only have one way to survive: fight off the undead.

Apocalypse is a completely new form of entertainment. It combines a first-person shooter video game with a real-life interactive walk through.

“Realism is key,” said co-owner Nick Francis, “from the advanced weapon systems to the interactive walk throughs, every detail is designed to be as realistic as possible.” Apocalypse is offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience you simply can’t get anywhere else.
