British police in the town of Harrogate were dispatched to to investigate a reported ax attack, but when they arrived on the scene, they found zombies instead.

The zombie incident, reported first by the BBC, was brought to the attention of authorities by a woman who called 999 (the British equivalent of 911 in the U.S.) saying that she had seen three boys standing with an ax over the bloody body of a fourth boy.

As it turns out, the blood was fake and the boys were actually filming a zombie movie. North Yorkshire Police said after officers spoke to the teenagers, “the incident was stood down.” We guess that’s British police talk for the boys got scolded for wasting police officer time and resources and then got sent home.
