4Wheel Drive Hardware unleashing Jeepers vs. Zombies sweepstakes

4WD is launching giveaways awarding winners with Jeep parts to help them survive the zombie apocalypse. The Last Man Standing Jeepers vs. Zombies sweepstakes went live Sept. 5 and will award Truck-Lite LED headlights in September, a Smittybilt X2O 8,000 pound winch in October, and a set of 4 Pro Comp Tires in November. A YouTube video will direct visitors to http://www.4WD.com/zombies where they can enter to win Jeep parts and sign up for a free sticker and 4WD catalog.

“Zombies are a lot like Jeeps – they’re both American icons, can take on anything, and never stop running,” says 4WD Website Manager Kelly Young. “If it comes down to Jeepers vs. zombies, we want to help Jeepers with parts and accessories so they’re the last ones standing.”

The sweepstakes zombie theme reflects the Jeep community’s fascination with the living dead and survival scenarios involving their beloved vehicles. Recently, there’s been a resurgence of zombies in pop culture with the popularity of zombie walks held by cities, the action/horror film World War Z, AMC’s acclaimed TV series The Walking Dead, and commercials featuring zombies.

The 3 Jeep part giveaways are:

  •     Truck-Lite LED Jeep lights in September
  •     A Smittybilt X2O 8,000 pound winch in October
  •     A set of four Pro Comp tires in November

Entrants can increase their chances of winning by sharing a URL or liking 4WD on Facebook, and are credited with another entry every time they share. Another aspect of the sweepstakes is an infographic – Survive the Zombie Apocalypse With 9 Parts From 4WD.

“This promotion reflects current popular trends in mainstream media,” says Sean Campbell, 4WD Columbiana, Ohio store manager. “Zombies are big now and we’ve already seen a response from people at our store who want to buy posters and are asking about t-shirts.”
