Life’s Transitions and The Fountain Banquet Hall invite Zombie fans to join them for a unique fundraiser to benefit Life’s Transitions. The Racine Zombie Prom and Pageant will be on Friday, Sept. 13, at The Fountain Banquet Hall 8505 Durand Ave, Sturtevant, WI.
The Racine Zombie Prom will benefit Life’s Transitions, a local nonprofit dedicated to assisting clients with barriers to employment find not only meaningful employment but also gain valuable life skills. Cost for the event is $15 in advance or $20 at the door and will include entertainment and hors d’oeuvres. A variety of local vendors and entertainers will be in attendance including a photo booth compliments of Photogo. Raffles include donations from local businesses as well as the Green Bay Packers. A 50/50 raffle and door prizes will also be available. Participation in the Zombie Pageant is optional and included in the cost of admission.
The festivities start at 7 p.m., tickets may be purchased online or at Life’s Transitions at 1220 Mound Ave. Ste. 301 Racine, WI. Tickets will also be available at local retailers, see the website for a list of participating retailers. A limited number of space is still available for vendors, those interested should contact Cheri Esperon at 262-456-5194 x 103.
“I am so excited to bring a different type of fundraising event to the Racine Area,” said Desiree Veasey, Executive Director of Life’s Transitions. “This is what Life’s Transitions is all about; thinking outside of the box and making a difference. George Romero brought the dead back to life- we are trying to do the same for Racine’s job market.”
