EW continues love hate relationship with The Walking Dead

Regular readers of Entertainment Weekly might be scratching their heads this week with the announcement that the magazine will have not one but three covers featuring cast member from AMC’s hit zombie show “The Walking Dead.”

The magazine’s love affair with the show is nothing new as it has hyped The Walking Dead on numerous occasions. Columnist Dalton Ross was even given a full walker make-over as part of one promotion.

However, fans of the Walking Dead were left wondering where the love was when EW published its list of the top 100 shows of all time. Other AMC dramas like Breaking Bad and Mad Men made the list, but Walking Dead was nowhere to be seen.

Of course, with Walking Dead expected to be a dominating force at San Diego Comic-Con, it’s little surprise that Rick, Daryl and Carl are gracing the magazine’s cover.
