What we know about All of Us Are Dead season 2

Netflix’s K-drama series All of Us Are Dead has been renewed for a second season, much to the delight of fans. The show, based on the Joo Dong-Geun Naver webtoon of the same name, premiered on the streaming platform in January 2022, and quickly rose to become one of the most-watched shows in over 20 different countries. The show’s rabid audience finally spurred the renewal of the second season.

Director Lee Jae-kyoo stated in an interview that he intended to make a second season of the zombie series, focusing on the survival of the zombies, if the first season dealt with the survival of mankind. The plot of the upcoming season is expected to see Nam-ra and her new half-breed companions prioritize surviving, given that the military may attempt to do experiments on hybrids of zombies and humans to discover a cure.

Not much has been revealed about the cast of the second season, given that most of the original cast did not survive to see another day, as suggested by the title of the show. Park Ji-hu, Lomon, Kim Bo-yoon, Im Jae-hyuk, Ha Seung-ri, Lee Eun-saem, and Cho Yi-hyun are expected to reprise their roles, with Yoon Chan-young and Yoo In-soo also making an appearance.

Netflix released a video on June 6, 2022, during Netflix Geeked Week 2022, showcasing members of the cast announcing the show’s renewal. Netflix Korea also shared the news on its Instagram page. All of Us Are Dead Season 2 is one of the many Korean dramas available on Netflix, which has introduced a whole new world of Korean content just in the past year. The streaming service has everything from spooky dramas to life-or-death scenarios to apocalyptic demon creatures, making it a popular choice for fans of K-dramas.
