Equipping for disaster

You can’t remember everything, so write it down

By Jake Sepulveda

There is bound to be a lot on your mind during a Zombie outbreak or other major disaster. From bug out locations, to supply checklists, inventory sheets, general notes, and journal entries; you’re going to have a lot to keep track of.

A small notepad and a pencil can be helpful when trying to track water/food consumption, the location of supply depots and dangerous areas or other survivors. They can lend a hand when working out a problem, or designing something new to help you survive. A notepad can be used to alert others to danger, or leave a message for a friend or family member. They can be counselors, teachers, inventors, and friends. A notepad can save your life.

And when all is said and done, and things go back to normal… the accounts of your adventure just might be the next big thing.

Bonus Tip: Both the pencil and paper can be utilized as fire starters.
