Many Survivors and anti-zombie enthusiasts agree that there are five basic things needed to survive most major disasters or Zombie outbreaks – shelter, clean water, fire, food, and fight, with a spattering of first-aid thrown in… because you never know when you’ll need it.
Opinions vary greatly over what order the basic needs need to be met. Some experts are adamant that water should always come first, others say that fire is the way to go, while some say shelter or fight (weapons, signaling, etc.) is most important. But, if you want to know the truth, they are all wrong.
The reality is that priorities, no matter what they are, develop differently within each situation – survival oriented or otherwise.
