Zombie B.C. would explore zombie plague at the dawn of man

Zombie B.C. is an upcoming, fully colored comic created by Stephen Vold. This 30 page comic will be part one of a projected three part comic series, spanning multiple eras of human existence. The tone is dark, gritty, and ofd2a335c8180fb5546fc268cc621627f7_large course packed with hoards of zombies. Don’t expect any family friendly reading out of this issue.

You would think man had enough to worry about during his primitive days…

Vold has partnered up with the talented artists, Steven Williams for the comic pages and Malcolm McClinton as the cover artist, to bring Zombie B.C. into the hands of zombie fanatics.

“This project is the combination of 20 plus years of comic books and horror movies, with a strong emphasis on zombie culture,” Vold said.

A Kickstarter campaign was launched on July 29 to raise $5,500 in funds for Zombie B.C. These funds will be used to pay for the comic’s artwork, Kickstarter rewards and its physical print run. The campaign will end on August 28 and rewards will be shipped shortly afterwords. Physical rewards in addition to the physical copy of the comic include, t-shirts, and posters.

Any pledge above $70 will be signed by both Vold and Williams. These rewards are extremely limited.

Some of the rewards included in the Zombie. B.C. Kickstarter are exclusive signed copies by both Vold and Williams.

Zombie B.C. is fully involving the community by allowing the fans to be in the comic. Higher end reward tiers will include the backers as extras in the comic as a human or a zombie. For $300, backers can “choose their death” scene in the comic.

Zombie B.C. also plans to start a comic book tour once the project is complete. A schedule will be released in the coming months.

Zombie B.C. is projected to be released late Fall of 2013.
