As San Diego Comic-Con gets into full swing, the buzz around AMC’s hit zombie show The Walking Dead continues to build. Earlier today the official Season 4 trailer was released.

The trailer is a clear indication that a lot more characters are going to be involved this season, but how long they get to stick around remains to be seen. At least 12 die the trailer.

In addition to the increase in humans populating the prison, there is a marked increase in the number of zombies around it. Producers weren’t joking when they said the zombie threat was going to get a major spike this season.

Season 4 premieres on Sun., Oct. 13 at 9pm.
