With a little more than two weeks to go before AMC’s fourth season of The Walking Dead kicks off, the network has released a number of new images taken during filming.

In our opinion the most exciting image is one of the new walkers. He’s a piece of work that shows off the FX department’s collective talents. From the looks of him, someone tried to split his head, but couldn’t get through his skull.

Another image gives us a glimpse of what Herschel and Rick have been up to since the Governor rode off into the sunset: gardening. Looks like Team Prison will soon have tomatoes enough for everyone. It also looks like Herschel pulled a Lt. Dan and got new legs, well at least one new one anyway.

The final new pic gives fans hoping for a Carol/Daryl love connection something to smile about. The two have shared a special bond ever since Sophia went missing back in Season 2, but could there be something more in Season 4? Only time will tell.
