Vertigo Games Announces Steam VR Zombie Shooter Arizona Sunshine for HTC Vive

Dutch independent developers Vertigo Games and Jaywalkers Interactive have unveiled their upcoming room-scale Arizona_Sunshine_LogoVR title Arizona Sunshine, a fast-paced zombie shooter that will have players experience the heat of a zombie apocalypse like never before on HTC Vive, the revolutionary VR headset that was developed in conjunction with Valve.

Arizona_Sunshine_6Arizona Sunshine has you step into the midst of a zombie apocalypse as if you were really there, and bash, slash and explode your way through hordes of undead close enough to touch. Battle for survival across a blistering hot, post apocalyptic Arizona using motion-controlled weapon handling that will have you anticipate attacks, carefully manage your ammo and consumables, and aim down the sights as if your life was on the line, bringing unprecedented realism to zombie shooting.

When you hear a flash of a human voice on the radio, your hopes and beliefs are confirmed – there are still survivorsArizona_Sunshine_5 out in the blistering heat of the post-apocalyptic Grand Canyon state! Arizona Sunshine poses a two-fold battle for survival in a VR zombie apocalypse in which players need to navigate both the hordes of zombies coming for their brains and the scorching heat in their search for human contact.

Currently in joint development by Vertigo Games, creators of VR titles Arizona_Sunshine_4Skyworld and World of Diving, and Jaywalkers Interactive, creators of Kick & Fennick and Blue Marble, Arizona Sunshine is scheduled for release on Steam for HTC Vive in late 2015.
